Welcome to the Professional Clothing Awards

In association with the Workwear and Corporate Clothing Show

The Professional Clothing Awards will combine the prestigious Business Manager Awards and the new SATRA PPE Innovation Awards to provide one outstanding event for the whole supply chain.

From imaginative style to ingenious design and superior protection to stringent sustainability, the Professional Clothing Awards will recognise the different elements that can impact on wearer safety, well-being and brand identity. The awards are free to enter and open to the whole supply chain from buyers and suppliers of bespoke uniforms, to all other businesses that are involved in the design, development and production of workwear, corporate clothing and PPE products, components or processes.

The Professional Clothing Awards will incorporate the Business Manager Awards categories for ‘Business Manager of the Year’ and ‘Best Uniform in Corporate Clothing, Workwear and PPE’. The event will also introduce a number of new awards for suppliers, ranging from ‘Best Fibre and Fabric Innovation’ and ‘Best Website’ to ‘Best Managed Major Contract’ and ‘Best Managed Boutique Contract’.

But that’s not all. To reflect the major growth market of personal protective equipment (PPE), the Professional Clothing Awards will contain the brand new SATRA PPE Innovation awards. These awards will recognise the manufacturers of PPE products, components and processes that push boundaries in technical innovation. SATRA is a world leading technology centre specializing in the research, development and testing of a wide range of products including PPE, for which it is a Notified Body for the EU Directives.

The winners will be announced at a spectacular gala dinner and dance, and presented with glittering crystal trophies. This will take place at the Workwear and Corporate Clothing Show on 17th April 2012, at the E.ON Lounge, Ricoh Arena, Coventry, UK. Guests will be met with an elegant champagne reception, followed by a sumptuous three-course dinner, the award ceremony and excellent live music entertainment.

In addition to the trophy, the overall winner of the SATRA PPE Innovation of the Year will receive a very special prize: the opportunity to undertake discounted research, product testing and certification at SATRA Technology Centre, and the possibility of creating a partnership to develop a product or products for commercial exploitation.
